Ungefähr im März 2020 musste die Welt aufgrund einer weltweiten Pandemie eine Pause von Live-Musik einlegen – du kannst dich bestimmt noch erinnern. Als die Weltbühne geschlossen wurde, begab sich Andrew Stockdale von Wolfmother mit allen Instrumenten in sein Heimstudio und schuf dort das sechste Album „Rock Out“. Da psychische Gesundheit während der Pandemie zu einem der wichtigsten Themen wurde, nutzte Stockdale die Kraft des Rock mit all seinen heilenden Eigenschaften, um sich bei der Entstehung von „Rock Out“ leiten zu lassen. Die Idee, dass Rock’n’Roll inmitten der Monotonie des täglichen Lebens während der Pandemie eine Flucht in eine bessere Welt ermöglicht, wurde zu einer selbsterlösenden Katharsis – dargeboten mit dem Twang eines New Yorker Taxifahrers.

Wolfmother liefern den Sound von Vergangenheit, Wahnsinn und Wohnzimmer-Rebellion. Der Rock lebt – und Wolfmother sind der Beweis.
